After a long weekend of shopping, going to Sea World San Antonio, and the farmer’s market, we decided it was time to go to Costco to stock up for the next couple weeks. Plenty of people were there, shopping, grabbing samples, and relaxing in the food court area.

Well, I had to run and eat again on Saturday. I scurried through Costco like a madman trying to get everything I was looking for before closing time (I showed up at 5 PM and they close at 6). I didn’t particularly purchase a lot of items, but my cart sure did feel like it! Seeing how I didn’t eat breakfast and only had a light brunch around 11 AM, my stomach got the best of me and demanded a Costco Hot Dog (actually I went with the Polish Sausage this time) and a Chicken Bake. I always forget how big those Chicken Bakes are…

Who would’ve thought that I’d be back for another Costco Hotdog so soon! I had to pick up a few things I missed yesterday and fill up the gas tank, and I just couldn’t pass up another hot dog! I was in a rush to get back over to the airport to pick up my wife, so I had to shop and run. I’m sorry Costco!

It was a chilly (for central Texas) kind of day…

While this certainly isn’t my first Costco Hotdog, I thought you’d all like to join me from Costco Hotdog #1. No matter how many of these delicious vessels of flavor and nutrition I eat, it’s always like the first time. Amazement at the price: only $1.50 plus tax for a quarter pound hotdog with toppings and a soft drink with refills?! Are you insane Costco? Admiration at the simplicity of the Costco Food Court menu: you make it so easy to pick something, no need to decide between three versions of pasta primavera with different sauces or pastas! The camaraderie of the Food Court: yes, we have all been shopping in this giant warehouse wonderland for bulk items, let us all settle down together for a few minutes to refuel with delicious Costco Hotdogs, Polish sausages, Chicken Bakes, pizza and more.
